Founded in 1999, Alconor Company is a privately owned Romanian manufacturer, specializing in water, soft drinks and other non-alcoholic beverages, as well as pet food, through its dedicated Alconor Pet Food division.
Sustained growth and diversified capabilities
With two production platforms for water and soft drinks—one located in Carei and the second, opened in 2014 during the company’s 15th year of operation, in Voluntari (the Bucharest metropolitan area)—our company brings together industrial tradition and technological innovation, within a strategy focused on sustainable expansion and a strong orientation toward global markets.
Starting with our initial bottling lines for carbonated beverages in PET packaging, we have expanded our capabilities to include a wide range of formats, from PET bottles to aluminum cans, across multiple volume options, designed to meet diverse market needs. Ongoing investments in state-of-the-art equipment and optimized processes allow us to provide our clients and partners with flexible, efficient solutions aligned with the most demanding quality standards.
Starting in 2020, we launched a strategic diversification project, making significant investments in the development of the Alconor Pet Food division, dedicated to the production, packaging, distribution, and commercialization of pet food. The division operates one of the most advanced production facilities in Romania, specialized in dry food for dogs and cats.
Today, we hold the largest dry pet food production capacity in Eastern Europe. This achievement places Romania on the European Pet Food industry map and opens new collaboration opportunities for companies and partners seeking a reliable manufacturer capable of large-scale delivery, operational efficiency, and consistently high quality.
Our portfolio includes both proprietary brands developed and strengthened over time, as well as private label products created in partnership with distributors and retailers in Romania and internationally.
